New Educational Garden area coming to the Benson Community Garden
This space will highlight alternatives to the typical vegetables and flowers people expect to see. Instead, we’ll showcase native fruit trees, berry bushes, and edible perennials that grow naturally in our region. Visitors may be surprised to learn just how many delicious and useful foods thrive in Nebraska’s climate — from serviceberries and hazelnuts to beautyberries and aronia berries.
