Benson Community Garden

1302 North 60th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68132

Benson Community Garden is a vibrant, member-based garden where individuals and families grow their own fruits and vegetables in a shared green space. While the garden is located on private property, visitors are welcome to stroll through, enjoy the sights, and see what’s growing. We kindly ask that you admire with your eyes only — the produce is lovingly tended by our members and meant just for them. Thanks for supporting a place where community, learning, and a love of growing things come together!

Community Garden Toolkit is a website (and soon-to-be published book) by Kurt Goetzinger, founder of the Benson Community Garden. You’ll find practical tools and real-world guidance to help start and run a community garden.
